MUET |Writing, Reading and Listening tips|

12:38 PM
During sitting MUET, I found that our paper is a bit challenging, especially the Writing paper and all my friends admitted it haha.. however, we are having a smooth journey during the Listening paper. Here, I'll give some tips [based on my past experience and others] as a guidance to those of you who will be sitting for MUET.

SPEAKING PAPER
* In Part A, everyone is given 2 minutes to elaborate their point, and my only advice is, DON'T EVER STOP until you reach almost 2 minutes then only conclude your point.
* In Part B, show your involvement into the discussion, learn how to interrupt, POLITELY. Don't dominate the discussion. Instead, give chance to the others to speak their POV.
* Use the right dress code and show your PROFESSIONALISM throughout the test

READING PAPER
* You'll notice 3 multiple choice answers which are YES/NO/NOT STATED. In these questions, please refer fully to the text. Whenever it is not stated in the text, answer NOT STATED. Don't use your own opinion.
* Underline main ideas/main points to make you easier finding the answers

WRITING PAPER
* Read books: journals, magazines, newspaper because the questions are obtained from here
* REMEMBER the keywords for the report writing. Don't use the same terms in all paragraph in order to achieve the highest band
* Please study these: THESIS STATEMENT, TOPIC SENTENCE, SUPPORTING IDEA

LISTENING PAPER
* Clean your ear [IMPORTANT] hahaha
* Use PEN to write down the answers
* Underline main ideas/ main points while you're given 1 minute to read all the passages

For me, I won't expect anything after finshed MUET. I only hope that there's no other MUET for me after this. To those will be sitting for MUET, take this SERIOUSLY, do it very well or you WILL NOT enter the university because of getting lower band. FYI juniors, if you achieve higher band [Band 3 at least] you'll have a chance to study foreign languages during your Degree studies.

So..?
